Here is the information that you will need if you are interested in doing a fourth year elective in Flint. As a visiting 4th year medical student at the Flint Campus of Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, you will enjoy the following benefits:
To apply for an elective, please complete the attached "Application for Elective Clerkships" and return it at least six weeks prior to the beginning date of your requested elective experience along with a $85 processing fee. (There is no processing fee for MSU College of Osteopathic Students) Beginning with the 2012-13 Academic Year we will use the AAMC Visiting Student Application Service (VSAS) for the elective application process for students whose home schools participate in VSAS.
